Di Thompson runs a successful beauty salon which she set up in 2008. Di is now looking to increase her working hours and consequently she would like to increase her customer base.
Alison recommended Di set up a company Facebook page for The Beauty Corner. Many of Di’s existing customers use Facebook and it is an excellent way raise awareness among the friends of those customers. Facebook works particularly well for personable businesses like beauty salons as Facebook users are keen to share their experiences like having a wonderful beauty treatment.
Alison took a large range of photos of the treatment room and the products to ensure that the page gave potential customers a good feel for The Beauty Corner; it is reassuring to see photos of a beautiful, calming treatment room. Alison set up the page for The Beauty Corner and posted the first few posts with the photos of the treatment room and products.
Di is now posting regularly on her new page. In less than a month the page has already reached over 300 people so far as well as gaining a couple of potential new clients. Visit The Beauty Corner’s Facebook page.
